An inspection report describes a “toxic” culture, where political fighting and poor management are making it a stressful place to work. Many good staff have left, and Mayor Rahman ignores criticism instead of improving.

He has created a confusing mess in the council. He and his team often skip proper procedures and see them as obstacles, leading to delays and poor decisions.

This government oversight should NEVER have been needed, but Mayor Lutfur Rahman’s poor governance forced it.
